He is a Certified Public Accountant with diverse interests in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and income tax issues for low income taxpayers. He is a member of the 2010 Volunteer Leadership Team at the Community Tax Centers in Austin, Texas.
